Two Shark Tank India Judges Accused For Not Replying Pitcher Even After Receiving A Deal

Shark Tank India is one of India’s most popular reality shows right now. Entrepreneurs from different walks of life pitch their ideas to the panel of judges who would like to invest in their businesses. The show has definitely given a platform to a lot of budding entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services. All the companies benefited from the exposure provided by the airing of the episodes, irrespective of the fact if the Shark invested in their brand or not.

Sharks ghosted a founder even after they secured a deal on the show

Recently, Akshay Shah, one of the contestants from Shark Tank India season 1, alleged that two judges from the show ghosted a pitcher even after securing a deal on the show. The judges never tried to meet him nor responded to his emails.

Akshay of iWeb Technology Solutions tweeted,

“Met a founder yesterday who had gotten a deal from 2 sharks in season 1 and who never met him nor responded to his emails post #SharkTankIndia — Ab kya bolen?”

One of the Twitter users asked why he didn’t mention the names of the sharks who ghosted the pitcher, Akshay responded,

“Like I said most founders fear, I am helpless. In season 1, what we faced, more than 50% of others faced the same or worse, the outcome being Ashneer was shown the door and sharks were counselled not to be rude and brash and to be considerate, but no founder came out in the open!”

A second wrote,

“This happens in lot of shows. Not everybody gets funding”

Akshay replied,

“Not getting funding and not getting response post agreeing to fund, dono alag hai boss”

One of the users asked Akshay to reveal the names of the Sharks and keeping people hanging like this is not fair.

Akshay responded,

“Most founders don’t have the balls of steel what we have show, none wanna reveal their identity, am helpless dude!”

A fourth tweeted,

“Thats why I never believed upon credibility of @sharktankindia”
