The Gutkha controversy is not going to stop in any way. But something happened differently this time.

Following the outcry over Akshay Kumar’s appearance in a tobacco-based commercial campaign, a campaign against the Vimal brand and three actors has been started on social media platforms in which users are raising their voices against their appearance in advertisement.

While everything has gone so seriously, on Twitter user protested the hoarding of the same advertisement, which included Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan, and Akshay, gives us so much amusement. The three were dubbed the Gutka Kings of India by a user. He explained how the commercial encourages people to buy the product, shared the message and tagged Suniel Shetty instead of Ajay Devgn. As he wrote on Twitter,

“Hey #GutkaKingsofIndia @iamsrk @akshaykumar @SunielVShetty you’re kids has to feel shame on you to lead nation in wrong way. Don’t lead India to cancer nation stupids.”

Suniel Shetty was aroused by the tweet and had a humorous answer for the user. He replied,

“Bhai thu apna chashma adjust kar le ya badal de”

His reply went viral within seconds as Twitter users dubbed this as another “savage Twitter moment” while some users were in wondered why he tagged Suniel Shetty.

After realising his error, the Twitter user expressed regret to Suniel Shetty and claimed to be a fan. He said,

“Hello @SunielVShetty Sorry it was just mistagged and i didn’t mean to hurt you bhai, lot of love. It should be (@ajaydevgn) As I am your fan you name ups always first in tag 😝”

For the uninitiated, Akshay Kumar recently got harsh criticism for marketing the same pan masala brand. In a statement, he later apologised to his admirers.

In his Instagram post, he stated,

“While I have not and will not endorse tobacco, I respect the outpouring of your feelings in light of my association with Vimal Elaichi. With all humility, I step back. I have decided to contribute the entire endorsement fee towards a worthy cause. The brand might continue airing the ads till the legal duration of the contract that is binding upon me, but I promise to be extremely mindful in making my future choices. In return, I shall forever continue to ask for your love and wishes.”

While on the other hand, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan defended the advertisement by saying,

“When you do something, you also see how harmful it would be. Some things are harmful, some are not. I would say it without naming it because I don’t want to promote it; I was doing elaichi. What I feel is more than advertisements, if certain things are so wrong, then they should not be sold.”

It has gotten a lot of attention since Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, and Ajay Devgn shared screen space in Vimal Elaichi’s Gukha commercial with the slogan Bolo Zubaan Kesari in a foreign setting with luxury automobiles around them. The Internet, unsurprisingly, has its own viewpoints. The voices range from amused to outraged. But nonetheless, this trend serious-seemed trend also gives us chuckling.
