Apart from this, Palak has sung songs for various films, including MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Rustom, Gabbar is Back, Hero, Mickey Virus, Ishq Ke Parinde, Baahubali, Raaz Reboot, Baaghi 2, Kaabil, Loveyatri, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Action Jackson, etc. which are pretty popular. She has sung more than 100 songs in 17 languages, including Hindi, Sanskrit, Gujarati, Oriya, Assamese, Rajasthani, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Sindhi, and Malayalam.

The singer told her fans on their social media accounts, i.e. Instagram and Twitter, that she received an honorary doctorate degree from the USA University. She even shared some pictures of herself on Twitter and Instagram in which she is being felicitated. In her post, the singer wrote in the caption,

“Received the Honorary Doctorate by the American University USA for Global Peace! Deeply honoured!”

With these pictures, Palak has said that she has now become Dr Palak Muchhal from Palak. Palak explained that – received an honorary doctorate from the American University of USA for Global Peace! His fans are also delighted and congratulating Palak for receiving this title.

The singer who enthralled Indians by singing great songs in her clanging voice, such as Tu Hi Mujhe Bata De in Aashiqui 2, is also known for participating in many social works. From giving life to children suffering from heart disease to raising funds for the victims of natural calamities, Palak does everything with her heart.

Palak, a resident of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, started her singing career at the age of four. The spirit of social service within Palak Muchhal is such that she has funded heart operations for more than two thousand poor children through her Palak Munchal Heart Foundation, which was first started by her in Indore. This achievement has been recorded in the Guinness Record and Limca Book of World records. Her foundation has funded heart operations for children also from Pakistan and Thailand besides India.

Palak also sang to raise funds for the victims of the Odisha cyclone (1999) and raised around one million rupees for the victims of the 2001 Gujarat earthquake. Palak has set a record of raising funds worth Rs 4 crore in 15 years by singing in charity shows.

Through her charity works, she has established her different but unique image in the Bollywood industry and become a source of inspiration for the younger generation.
