On the work front, Sayani Gupta, a graduate of the Indian Film and Television Institute, made her feature film debut in 2012 with Second Marriage Dot Com. Since then, she has made many cameo appearances in films, including Fan (2016), Jolly LLB 2 (2017), and Article 15 (2019). She recently appeared in Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga and Zwigato last year.

Speaking about Pathaan, the film centers around the spy Pathaan (Shah Rukh), who emerges from exile in order to prevent the terrorist organization Outfit X, directed by Jim (John Abraham), from attacking India in a devastating manner.
