The much-awaited Indian epic mythology-based movie, Adipurush has hit the big screens today. This high-budget project of Rs 500 crores has been hyped among the audience given the star-studded cast and the promised high-end visual effects. The release of this movie was highly anticipated among the fans as the trailer looked promising. The trailer had the perfect background musical score and cuts from the movie which made it a massive hit. The first-day box office collection of Adipurush has crossed Pathaan‘s first-day collection with ease.
This movie has been the topic of discussion ever since the trailer dropped. It has received divided reactions from the public and most of them were disappointed with the visual effects. After the VFX backlash they faced after the teaser release, team Adipurush had to postpone the Indian epic mythology-inspired film for months and rework on the whole thing. After the reviews poured in, seems like not much has changed on the visual effects front. While the catchy background music is commendable, the laughable VFX has got the audience cringing hard.
Saif Ali Khan’s look as the 10-headed Lankesh has triggered a meme fest on Twitter
It is very well known that Raavan’s 10 heads are supposed to be demonic and scary but seems like the VFX went wrong on this one. Although Saif Ali Khan’s acting was on point and praiseworthy, the cringy and laughable VFX has triggered a total meme fest on Twitter.
This looks horrible, tacky and lame but my brain feels good after seeing the symmetry. In traditional versions the linear placement of heads causes an imbalance in the number of heads on either side of the primary head which always bothered me. I guess there are no victories… https://t.co/5XJBqD6eNf
#Adipurush For the first time in my life, I’m feeling really bad for “Ravan”. Just want to say it’s a mockery of technology(VFX). India is on it’s way to become a major hub for VFX production, but this is what we get in the name of creativity. pic.twitter.com/TKO2HlLXA5
Why spent 500Cr and make a third rate movie. Mediocare dialogues, third class FX and I am surprised where did 500 cr spent…#AadiPurushpic.twitter.com/IsDgkaAJTj
