These sorts of programmes exist and are generating news in a world where getting financiers ready to support your ambition is nearly impossible.
Well, we have an American reality television programme called Shark Tank that does just that. But anything like this in India is still unusual and risky because we all know how reality TV shows are typically shown in India and how they are received by people. The wonderful news is that we have our own Indian version of Shark Tank, called Shark Tank India.
The judges have sparked the curiosity of fans of the business reality programme Shark Tank India, who want to know everything about their investments, net worth, and entrepreneurial career.

Since the premiere of the reality TV show Shark Tank India, fans have been keen to learn more about the judges. The group recently appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show, when the audience got a glimpse of some of the judges’ wives.

Aanchal Kumar is a model and actress. She has appeared in movies such as Bluffmaster and Fashion. She was also a contestant on Bigg Boss 4, a popular reality show. After dating for 6-7 years, Aanchal got married to Anupam Mittal in 2013. She has also appeared in advertising for major brands such as Rexona, Sunsilk, and Bombay Dyeing.
Madhuri is also an entrepreneur and presently works at BharatPe as the Group Head – Controls. She is a professional designer who has worked with well-known brands. She became the chief of BharatPe’s Controls department in 2018. She once commented, when asked about joining BharatPe:
“I could sense that Ashneer and BharatPe needed help. Since I was running my business more on the model of a walk-in studio, which isn’t a day-long job, I suggested that I could help. And when I joined, I could feel how the company needed someone senior who can take charge of various internal functions.”
SUGAR Cosmetics’ co-founder and COO is Kaushik Mukherjee. According to his LinkedIn page, he studied engineering at BITS Pilani before pursuing an MBA at IIM Ahmedabad. He tried and failed to launch an eCommerce firm in 2008 before co-founding SUGAR cosmetics with Vineeta. Later, he launched an online insurance platform, which he later closed down.
At Emcure Pharma, he is the President of Corporate Development, Strategy, and Finance. Vikas graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a bachelor’s degree in Management Science. He earned his MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
Nidhi is a media professional who has previously worked for The Pioneer and India Today. She is the founder of BoostNet and the Chairperson of the Lenskart Foundation.
Priya Dagar is now employed as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Embassy. The pair tied the knot in 2008 and has two children together.
