It’s natural that as E-Commerce grows, so does the number of online shoppers throughout the world. The number of digital purchasers is estimated to be 2.14 billion in 2021. This equates to 27.6% of the world’s population of 7.74 billion people.
Although online buying is convenient and quick, there is always a catch. Despite its advantages, online shopping has its disadvantages, as evidenced by many cases in which customers have gotten empty boxes or incorrect items.
You never know what you’ll get until your stuff comes if it arrives at all. There’s plenty of evidence that this perfect tale might wind up being an internet shopping disaster.
In yet another case of confusion, a guy was taken aback when he received a padded bra instead of the football stockings he had ordered. On Twitter, one user Kashyap with the handle name, @LowKashWala told his disastrous experience with online shopping.
Kashyap said in his tweet that he received an inaccurate item from Myntra
On October 12, the user received a black Triumph bra instead of the football stockings that he had ordered. When he chose to register for the exchange, the firm refused to replace the merchandise.
Feeling helpless, he took to Twitter to share a photo of the goods he had gotten, as well as Myntra’s reaction. He tweeted,
“Ordered football stockings. Received a triumph bra. @myntra’s response? “Sorry, can’t replace it”. So I’m going to be wearing a 34 CC bra to football games, fellas. Ima call it my sports bra.”

The incident has gone viral on social networking platforms and has left netizens in laughter. Many buyers shared similar stories and criticized e-commerce businesses for their carelessness while people cracked jokes on that guy for receiving a bra. A few individuals even suggested to Kashyap how he might utilise the bra because it could not be returned.
Some people felt sorry for the woman who would have gotten the football stockings mistakenly instead of that guy, the real buyer of those stockings.
Oh my god 🤣🤣🤣 Thoughts and prayers for the woman who is wearing football stockings for better support 😂
Myntra, an online shopping platform, received a lot of negative attention and criticism when his post went viral. It was, however, quick to respond to Kashyap’s complaint. It promised the man that his complaint had been raised and that it will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
Myntra replied,
“This is upsetting to hear and is certainly not the experience we want you to have with us, Kashyap! Please be assured that I’ve escalated the issue under the reference number IN21101716094536654149 & we’re working on it with utmost priority.”
