83, directed by Kabir Khan, is one of the year’s most anticipated films. The film is about India’s historic World Cup victory in 1983. The 1983 World Cup final transformed Indian cricket’s history. The film’s trailer will be unveiled on November 30, and the film will be released in theatres on December 24. It is presented by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, as well as in 3D.

Reliance Entertainment has partnered with Kamal Haasan’s Raajkamal Films International and Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios to offer the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film, respectively.

2. Deepika Padukone as Romi Bhatia

Deepika plays the role of Kapil Dev’s closest defender, his wife, Romi Bhatia, in the film, just as she did in real life with her real-life husband, Ranveer Singh, who plays Kapil Dev in the film.

3. Tahir Raj Bhasin as Sunil Gavaskar

In this film, Tahir Raj Bhasin plays the character of Sunil Gavaskar, the legendary cricketer known as one of the greatest batsmen in Test Cricket history.

4. Jiiva as Krishnamachari Srikkanth

Jiiva, a Tamil actor, plays Krishnamachari Srikkanth, a cricketer who scored crucial 38 runs to help India win the 1983 World Cup.

5. Hardy Sandhu as Madan Lal
