The 20th century gave the world an air journey as a gift. The evolution of air travel in practically all nations throughout the world was greatly influenced by the two World Wars because it can operate without a specified land track, and air transportation has an odd property.
Despite being more expensive than other forms of transportation, air travel has become extremely important for swift mobility due to the development of the economic power of inhabitants of nations like India. Given that air travel is not only convenient but also unparalleled in terms of catering, it also makes us feel affluent and exceptional.
That’s why many people prefer traveling by air over other modes of transport. However, sometimes it may not seem like the most comfortable mode of transportation to fly by air in a metal container full of people. Especially if other passengers are acting inappropriately, our expensive travel experience might turn into a nightmare in seconds.
Something similar recently happened when one passenger got engaged in a heated fight with the flight crew on an IndiGo flight. The video of the incident has gone viral on various social media platforms, with people reacting to it and giving their opinions.
While many people are taking the flight crew’s side, others are taking the passenger’s side.

On social media, a video of an altercation between a passenger and a member of the IndiGo flight staff has gone viral. The altercation reportedly occurred over food on the airline’s journey from Istanbul to Delhi.

Indigo Statement.. “We are aware of the incident that took place on flight 6E 12 from Istanbul to Delhi on December 16, 2022.
In the video, a dispute between an airline hostess and a customer may be seen (who is not visible). The crew member claims that the guest was rude to the employees, causing one of them to cry.
This is how the annoyed Indigo air hostess reacted,
The flight hostess said to the passenger:
You are pointing finger at me and yelling at me. My crew is crying because of you. Please try to understand, there is a cart and counted meals are uplifted (on the plane). We can only serve what your boarding…
However, before she could finish, the passenger asked,
She added that since she works for the firm, he is not allowed to treat her in such a way.
She again stresses that she is an employee in response to the man’s claim that she is a servant. She said,
I am not your servant
The altercation unexpectedly comes to a stop, and the coworker of the air hostess leads her to the back of the aircraft.
Later on, IndoGo released an official statement regarding the whole fiasco. They said,
We are aware of the incident that took place on flight 6E 12 from Istanbul to Delhi on December 16, 2022. The issue was related to meals chosen by certain passengers traveling via a codeshare connection. IndiGo is cognizant of the needs of its customers and it is our constant endeavor to provide a courteous and hassle-free experience to our customers. We are looking into the incident and would like to assure that customers’ comfort has always been our top priority. We are committed to providing the best experience at all times
The airline claimed that when the passenger requested a sandwich, the crew informed him that they would see if it was an option for the trip. However, the man began yelling at the flight hostess, which caused her to start weeping.
The video, however, has caused internet outrage. While some people praised the hard work of the IndiGo crew, others claimed to have noticed a developing arrogance among the members.
