21 Tweets That Prove There Isn’t Anyone Like Desi Moms
If there’s one thing that sets Indian subcontinent women different from women all around the world, it’s their inherent ability to be flawless with desi-touch moms. This is evident since women on the Indian subcontinent would go to any length to ensure that their children meet developmental milestones ahead of their peers.
They were also the only ones prepared to stretch their finances in order to provide their children with the greatest brands. They also rank being enthusiastic as one of the top three attributes needed to be a good mother, which sets them apart from the rest of the world. They are also the ones who will go to any length to save their family from evil. Desi moms are amazingly protective about their children, from sticking a “kaala teeka” behind our ears to repeatedly lecturing us about not being to fall into a relationship.
They are budget-friendly too. From beating the remote control instead of changing the batteries, use the toothpaste until it’s absolutely finished. There’s absolutely no one like a desi mom, from their subtle and desi one-liners to their attitude.
Desi parents have a unique way of expressing their unconditional love for us by always taking care of us, putting us first, and ensuring that we eat our meals on time. And now, we’ve assembled a list of tweets that demonstrate that no one can ever be as funny and cute as they are. So grab a bowl of ice cream until your mom comes to scold you and get ready to see the tweets that characterise some cute desi mums.

Chahal’s Wife Dhanashree Verma Finally Speaks About Her ‘Cozy’ Viral Picture With The Choreographer
Dhanashree Verma who is popularly known as the wife of Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has made a name for herself in the entertainment world. However, to say that for all the positive factors? Not really. She often falls prey to the trolling that happens on the social media. While she seldom reacts on them, this time she issued a statement via her Instagram account which has gone viral now.
Dhanashree Verma found herself at the center of controversy when a photo of her with choreographer Pratik Utekar went viral
drawing significant trolling and criticism. In response, she took to Instagram to address the issue directly. Dhanashree expressed her disappointment with the negativity surrounding the photo, especially considering its impact on her family and close relationships. She highlighted the need for empathy and sensitivity on social media platforms, urging users to consider the feelings of others before posting judgmental comments.
Dhanashree Verma reacts strongly against trolls over viral photo
In a video uploaded by her she clarified how behind her public persona she is a simple woman who deserves respect. She said as we quote,
“I have never in my life been affected by trolls or memes because definitely had a lot of maturity in ignoring or laughing it out loud until this very recent troll occurred. The reason it has affected me this time is because it has affected my family and my near and dear ones. Since you all have the freedom on social media platforms to speak your heart and characters out, that you tend to forget or choose to ignore the sentiments of us and our families. This led to the decision of me taking a detox from social media and trust me, it was very peaceful.”
She further says,
“But this also made me realize that if we make this medium so negative, then all we are doing is spreading hate and disharmony on a large scale. Social media is a major part of my work and I can’t give up which is why I have gathered courage today and my creative side here to come back on Instagram. Just requesting you guys to be little more sensitive and focus on our talent and skill because at the end of the day guys we are all here on this medium just to entertain you guys. So just don’t forget I’m also just a woman, just like your mother, your sister, your friend, your wife. And this is not done. It’s not fair. So guys, please, you know, I am known as a fighter and I never give up.”
Here have a look at the video
She captioned the video by writing,
“Be kind and spread love”

Munmun Dutta Finally Speaks Out After Rumors Of Her Engagement To Raj Anadkat
There has been a lot of talk about a possible romantic connection between Raj Anadkat and Munmun Dutta, who are popular for playing Tappu and Babita Ji in the sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Since 2021, there have been reports of a developing connection stoked by Raj’s lighthearted interactions with Munmun’s social media posts.
Munmun Dutta and Raj Anadkat engagement rumors
Rumors have been circulating within the show’s sets about their transformation from co-stars to possible life partners. Their apparent strong bond sparked conjectures that they might take their relationship to the next level. Nevertheless, these rumors also invited unwarranted criticism towards both stars. And the majority of criticism centered on how much the two appeared to have aged. There is a nine-year age gap between Raj, 27, and Munmun, 36, which elicits both positive and negative reactions.
Despite their efforts to quash the hearsay, rumors persisted, leading to suggestions of an impending engagement. Now, according to new reports, earlier this month, Munmun and Raj reportedly got engaged in a low-key ceremony in Vadodara, Gujarat. Allegedly confirmed by a source close to the duo, the reports emphasized familial endorsement of their relationship.
Raj, however, vehemently denied the engagement rumors on March 13 on his Instagram story, calling them “false & baseless.” Following suit, Munmun clarified her stance on the matter, denying any marital or pregnancy status. In a recent Instagram story, she called the claims of her engagement “fake” and said that she would marry with pride when the time came.
Munmun Dutta opened up about her engagement rumors with Raj Anadkat
Munmun Dutta clarified the confusion about her marital status on Instagram by responding to circulating rumors. She addressed the rumors head-on in a string of real Instagram stories, saying,
“Funny how FAKE news spread like wildfire and keeps coming back like a boomerang. Putting things straight again! Not Engaged. Not Married. Not Pregnant.”
Emphasizing her stance further, Munmun added,
“Also, IF and WHEN I do marry, Whether a younger man or an older one I shall do it PROUDLY. Honey! That’s my Bengali genes. Always proud and brave. Joi Maa Durga.”
Concluding her series of posts, she wrote,
“Not gonna be putting my energy to fake things anymore. Moving on to better things in life. God is kind and Life is beautiful.”
In a recent exclusive interview with India Forums, Munmun Dutta emphatically dispelled the ongoing rumors surrounding her marital status. Describing the speculation as “utterly ridiculous,” she reiterated that there is no truth to any of the circulating rumors. Munmun said she was reluctant to participate in such petty rumors, saying,
“This is utterly ridiculous! There’s not an ounce of truth to any of this. I refuse to waste my energy and attention on such fake news.”
