Earthquake To Strike India Soon? Here’s What Researcher, Who Predicted Turkey-Syria Earthquake Says

A tremendous and terrible earthquake struck the southern and central parts of Turkey, as well as western Syria, on February 6th, 2023, leaving a trail of devastation and many dead.

According to early accounts, this is not just one of the greatest earthquakes to have hit Turkey but also the deadliest since the 1999 Zmit earthquake. It is also the deadliest earthquake to have struck the planet since the tsunami and earthquake in 2011 in Tohoku. The earthquake caused damage as far away as Israel and Cyprus, with tens of thousands of fatalities reported in the affected regions.

Dutch forecast deadly earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria

Dutch researcher Frank Hoogerbeets made the prediction on Twitter three days prior to the devastating earthquakes that occurred in Turkey, Syria, and Lebanon.

On February 3, he tweeted,

“Sooner or later there will be a ~M 7.5 #earthquake in this region (South-Central Turkey, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon). #deprem”

While, initially, no one took his prediction seriously, the tweet got an overwhelming response soon after the earthquake actually hit. He has become a trending topic of discussion.

Additionally, he calculated the earthquake activity in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.

Frank Hoogerbeets may be seen predicting a significant earthquake that would begin in Afghanistan in a video that has gone viral. The Dutch researcher claims that after passing across Pakistan and India, the seismic activity would eventually come to a conclusion in the Indian Ocean.

Taking Twitter, Paksitani government official Muhammad Ibrahim shared the video and wrote,

“Dutch researcher @hogrbe who anticipated the quake in #Turkey and #Syria three days ago had also predicted seismic activity anticipating a large size earthquake originating in #Afghanistan, through #Pakistan and #India eventually terminating into the Indian Ocean. @AlkhidmatOrg”

In the video, Frank Hoogerbeets said,

“These areas could be next candidate for larger seismic activity if we look at the atmospheric fluctuations but again keep in mind that these are rough estimates and not all large earthquakes leave a footprint in the atmosphere they do not always announce themselves.”

According to him, these predictions are speculative since not all big earthquakes can be identified by atmospheric variations.
