Bengaluru Landlord Rejects Man Rent Application Because He Didn’t Got 90% In 12th, Chat Goes Viral

It is not a surprise that finding a house on rent in metro cities can be extremely difficult given the high demand. Bengaluru, a city in India, also known as the IT hub and is famous for startups, is notorious for high rent prices and soaring demands of landlords.

You must have heard many struggle stories of aspiring tenants about how difficult it is to rent a place in Bangalore. Some people crack jokes, saying it’s easier to get into an IIT than find a house on rent in Bengaluru. Recently, one such tenant rejection has been doing rounds on the internet.

Recently, man shared screenshots on Twitter about how his cousin was rejected by a landlord and the reason was quite shocking

A Twitter user,  who goes by the username, @kadaipaneeeer claimed that his cousin brother was denied a rented flat in the city by the prospective landlord because of his low marks in class 12th results. He was expected to have 90 per cent marks in Class 12 exams.

Twitter user Shubh, shared how his cousin brother was asked by the broker to share his LinkedIn, Twitter profiles, joining letter of the company. It is crazy that instead of asking for PAN and Aadhar crad He also asked him to write a 200-word piece about himself.

As funny as this sounds, it is true, renting apartments in Bangalore can be a quite the cumbersome chore.
