It was a grim year for the Indian film industry in 2020 as one of the finest artistic talents of the world, Irrfan Khan, passed away. Irrfan made his presence felt in 2003 with films like Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Haasil and Vishal Bhardwaj’s Maqbool among many others. It didn’t take much time for his talent to spread overseas and he appeared in a medley of international films like The Namesake, The Warrior, The Darjeeling Limited, Slumdog Millionaire, The Amazing Spider-Man, Life Of Pi, Jurassic World, Puzzle, Inferno and New York, I Love You.

After impressing both national and international audiences, the late star managed to still experiment with projects like Qarib Qarib Singlle, Piku and Karwaan. He was last seen in Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madan, Deepak Dobriyal, Ranvir Shorey, Dimple Kapadia and Manu Rishi. The film was appreciated by both the audience and the critics and will always hold a special place in everyone’s hearts.

Ever since actor Irrfan Khan passed away, all eyes are on his son Babil Khan. Fans are closely observing each move of the star kid and have been passing judgement without fail. Even the young aspiring actor makes sure to respond to every comment, be it a hate comment or an appreciation post. He also makes sure to keep the legacy of his late father alive.

Recently, Babil took to his Instagram and replied to a fan who asked him about his religion.

Babil is pretty active on social media and loves to share his thoughts on the platform. He loves to share his fond memories of his father and complements some great throwback pictures with poignant and thoughtful captions.

Recently, a social media user was a little too interested in his religion. The user simply went on to ask him if he is a Muslim?

Well, this is not the first time when Babil has taken a fan comment so seriously that he felt the need to post it on his Instagram story and give a befitting reply.

The star kid did not lose his cool or get irked by his question and instead, simply replied by saying that he does not belong to any religion. He further wrote, “I am Babil”. Taking to Instagram Stories, Babil shared a screenshot of a comment,

“I’ve read the Bible, Bhagavad Gita, Quran and I’m in the middle of reading Guru Granth Sahib. How we help each other evolve is the basis of all religions.”

He had also once mentioned that he was raised as a man without religion.

Babil stated last month that he was dropping out of college to focus solely on his acting profession. He was a student at the University of Westminster, where he was studying cinema. Also he will soon be seen in Anvita Dutt’’ Netflix project Qala opposite Tripti Dimri. The project will be produced by Anushka Sharma under her production banner.
