Some examples depicts that Bollywood should put more emphasis in casting of talented female actress. They deserve more screen time as well as not to push in side-lines of a movie. Full utilization of their experience in acting in original stories and provide them well developed characters.

1. Tabu (Golmaal Again)

Even for such a poorly written role, she did a good job in movie Golmaal Again. She made more use of her talent and outshine the character even though it’s not possible. It’s not fair to take her talent so lightly. Tabu can play any character very well.

2. Rajshri Deshpande (The Sky is Pink)

In the movie The Sky Is Pink Rajshri was given a small role (Anita Tandon) and a very less screen time. She impressed people by her acting in movies like S Durga, Angry Indian Goddessses and Sacred Games. It was supposed to be a cameo, still it should be done with more good ideas of crafting.

3. Sheeba Chaddha (Shakuntala Devi)

The brilliant actress Sheeba Chaddha does not get much attention in Shakuntala Devi. It looks like filmmakers rarely offer her any dialogue or screen time. She deserves more especially in the mainstream movies.

The best thing about her is that she does not need a more than single cadre to express her acting. Her work always leaves a long lasting and amazing impact on people.

4. Supriya Pathak (The Big Bull)

Being one of the most talented actress of Bollywood industry Supriya Pathak is full of passion towards acting. It does not matter is that character she portrays, she flourish in every character. Supriya got famous for her role of Hansa in Kichidi. She is also famous for her role in Ram-Leela and a memorable performance in Love per Square Foot.

But in the movie The Big Bull she hardly has more than 3 scenes with fewer dialogues which is not fair. She deserves more screen time.

5. Shefali Shah (Mohabbatein)

Shefali Shah is the wonderful actor who speaks a lot with her expressions. One can easily get connect with the character she plays. Still she has been always sidelined and here is no denying of the fact that she deserves more screen time.

6. Seema Pahwa (Suraj Pe Mangal Bhaari)

Seema Pahwa has done some great movies like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. She set a great example and character of “DESI MOM” in Bollywood industries. She also brought a refreshing and positive energy in her character and people also like this thing.

It does not matter how talented you are as an actor, but if you are categorised a talent gets waster and the same happened with Seema in Suraj Pe Mangal Bhaari. She only performed a small role and audience wanted to see more of her.

7. Tisca Chopra (Good Newwz)

Despite knowing the fact that Tisca is a talented actor and still she didn’t get any dialogue and screen time in movie Good Newwz. Such improper miss casting is now becoming a norm.

8. Ayesha Raza and Ashwini Kalsekar (Laxmii)

Fact is that in Laxmii most of the talented actors – star-cast was a waste. The way Bollywood treated Ayesha Raza and Ashwini Kaleskar is quite unfortunate. Someone who can nail every role they are cast in, the talent gets wasted.

9. Tillotama Shome (Hindi Medium and Angrezi Medium)

Mainstream movie with such a strong story line fails to write a good character for Tillotama Shome. Although she did a pretty job the finest movies including her debut film Monsoon Wedding, Qissa and Sir.
