7 Upcoming Movies Of Akshay Kumar’s That Are Going To Hit The Big Screens

Akshay Kumar is one of the beloved and well-known faces in the Bollywood industry for his patriotic and somewhat comedy films. Khiladi Kumar turned 54 recently and his schedule does remain a bit hectic mostly, he still didn’t back off and signed up for way more films now.

Below is the list of some of his upcoming films that that will hit the big screens soon:

1. Prithviraj

The film is produced by Yash Raj Films and the storyline is about a Rajput warrior king. Manushi Chillar is reported to be the one playing opposite Akshay in this film.

The expected release date of Prithviraj is November 2021.

2. Ram Setu

The film is based on Hindu mythology and Akshay is playing the role of an archaeologist. Some of the other casts include, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film is produced by, Amazon Prime Video.

The release date for Ram Setu is 24 October 2022.

3. Bachchan Pandey

Though the storyline of the film is not known, it does have Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez in the cast.

It is expected to release on the 4 March 2022.

4. Atrangi Re

The actual date of release for this film was on 14th February 2021. But due to the ongoing global pandemic, the release date got postponed. The new release date didn’t get announced yet. It is said to be a musical-romance genre and high hopes have been kept from this film.
The cast contains, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan as well.

5. Raksha Bandhan

Akshay has already dedicated the film to his sister Alka Bhatia. Bhumi Pednekar is said to be playing the opposite role to Akshay, and the film will be directed by Ananand L.

6. Mission Cinderella

Camilla Cabello didn’t do enough to make the Bollywood lovers happy, people needed some spice to film. Thus Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh is reportedly thr part of this film.
The main shooting of this film has been done in London, and the Director is Ranjit Tewari.

7. Sooryavanshi

The leading cast contains Katrina Kaif along with Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Jackie Shroff . The film was scheduled to release back in 2020 but due to pandemic, the release got postponed.

When asked about the film, Akshay reportedly replied, “Sooryavanshi ke baare me sirf do hi insaan jaante hai – ek Bhagwan aur dusra Rohit Shetty (Only two people are aware of Sooryavanshi’s release date — God and Rohit Shetty)”
