Shreya Dhanwanthary is an Indian entertainer, model, director, and writer related to Hindi and Telugu language movies and web series. The series was about Harshad Mehta Story– a ten-episode series chronicling the life of one of India’s most notorious scamsters, Harshad Mehta. She was afraid to play the role of the journalist who broke the news about something so massive. Dhanwanthary in an interview revealed how she bagged Sucheta Dalal’s role in Scam 1992.
“I am a huge Hansal Mehta fan, and when I got to know that he is directing it, I begged and begged for an audition … (the audition) was a huge seven-page long scene. It was very intense but went quite well.”
Shreya had to wait for a long time before she received news of bagging the role.
