1. Jodha Akbar

Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar stunned the audience with her transformation in the blockbuster film Dum Laga Ke Haisha. One of the most successful movies to date is made even better by a beautiful couple of Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi.
Fans still hum and love the song from this movie, Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage. A classic serial was made based on the storyline of this movie, Badho Bahu, on the small screen.
Icchadhari Naagin has been the subject of numerous TV shows as well as movies to date. Naagin, a Hindi sitcom based on the actress Sridevi’s Naagina, has roots in the actress’s Sridevi starrer film. This is neither true nor false, however.
A series of other instalments of this serial was produced after this series was hugely successful on small screens.

6. Jaana Na Dil Se Door and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
Time to adapt another blockbuster movie into a serial. This time it is Jaana Na Dil Se Door which was adapted from the story of the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
Pardes is undoubtedly one of the most iconic Bollywood cult classics whose story and songs have won the hearts of the audience.
The daily soap Pardes Mein hai Mera Dil was made on the lines of this one. It revolves around a love triangle and a story about an NRI returning to India.
Several societal issues were addressed in Vivah that have been taboos for generations. In this film, the bonds between sisters and marriage have been beautifully depicted.
